THE STORY OF BELLASMILES
BellaSmiles for Developmental Disabilities is a nonprofit primarily serving children and families affected by the ongoing challenges associated with Developmental Disabilities in Uganda . Here in the US, the organization is forging a way to assist families of color in general and those of Ugandan original in particular. With work starting in Washington state with a hope to expand .
OUR VISION
Be a driving force in creating that meaningful life of individuals and families with developmental disabilities right from birth to transitional stages seeing life as a journey with kindness at heart. through Embracing research, positive connections, Evidence based practices that focus on personal centered approaches, advocate and raise awareness to establish an understanding of the daily living challenges of individuals and families who live with developmental disabilities.

Pave a way to empower individuals and families living with developmental disabilities to be more inclusive in their community and live a transformed life.

We affirm the dignity of each person, and we treat every individual with care and love for their unique personalities.

We voice solidarity with one another. We can feel one’s joy or sorrow with a listening and understanding ear.

We treat each individual we come in touch with like how we want to be treated, which is with a nurturing hand and heart.

Success is driven by combined efforts. We will thrive to work with our community, especially with our partners, stakeholders, and all those who wish to collaborate with us.
